Dry Eyes

Dry eye is a common condition that occurs when the eyes are insufficiently moisturized, leading to itching, redness, and discomfort from dry spots on the surface of the eye. Medically, it is known as keratitis sicca, which refers to decreased quality or quantity of tears. When both the cornea and conjunctiva are affected, it is called keratoconjunctivitis sicca.

If left untreated, dry eye can lead to more serious vision problems. At Centers for Vision, we have a dedicated Dry Eye Clinic equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and treatment options for this often misdiagnosed condition.
